READ ALL OF THE DIRECTIONS BELOW

If you received a 2026 badge/were certified for 2026, you need to complete recertification for 2027 between July 2026 and 15 June 2027.  You will not be able to referee after December 2026 until you complete recertification and receive your 2027 referee badge.  There is no classroom or field training required for 2027 recertification.

TO START.  Go to our Officials Management System (OMS):  https://mdcvasrp.omgtsys.com 

1. Select “Sign in via U.S. Soccer.”  Enter your username and password.
2. Select “Registration” on the Menu Bar at the top of the page.
3. Select “Register for a Clinic / Fitness Test.”
4. On the next page, update your personal information.
5. On the next page, answer the “Yes/No” question and more questions will be revealed. Select your Offical Type(s) and Registration Type.  You can return to request other Official Types later. Select Referee and Recertification.
6. On the next page, Reserve Course SA-40-0627-GRRCT.
7. Follow the directions to Checkout and pay the $85.00 by credit card.

ONLINE LESSONS.   There are twelve lessons to your recertification annual training:

1. U.S. Soccer Safety Requirements (45 minutes)
2. SafeSport Verification (1 minute)
3. 2027 US Soccer Referee Recertification (3 hr 30 minutes)
4. Background Check Verification (1 minute)
5. 2026-27 Laws of the Game (10 minutes)

DO NOT CREATE A NEW LOGIN AT THE LEARNING CENTER.  YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE.  Select “Log In” at the Learning Center.  DO NOT SELECT “SIGN UP”.

Complete the online lessons by selecting “Start” beside each lesson, in order.

When you complete the online lessons, we can approve your 2026 referee certification. You will receive your 2026 badge by mail in about two weeks.  Make sure your address is correct in OMS.
